3 Ways to Update a Fireplace with Stone

Bought a new house and don’t like the fireplace? Or want to change the one you’ve had forever? Metropolitan’s stone team can help you make your fireplace look gorgeous in no time! We have a few ideas…

1. Swapping old tile for solid stone. The homeowners in the example below replaced the dated tile for ColorQuartz Calacatta Novus from Marble & Granite to create a modern, clean appearance.

2. Adding a wood mantle. The project below incorporated chic Soapstone and framed it with a wooden mantle piece to add a traditional and elegant element to the space.

3. Use paint to add brightness. By using white paint over the existing off-white color, and painting the inside of the fireplace a light gray, the homeowner was able to bring a lot of lightness to the space below and make the new Fantasy Brown stone really pop!
