This honor comes as part of the BBJ’s 2025 Corporate Citizenship Awards, recognizing companies that have made a significant impact through philanthropic efforts and community support. Metropolitan is proud to be among the organizations that donated at least $100,000 to local causes in 2024—a milestone that reflects the generosity, compassion, and dedication of our entire team.
More Than Cabinets—A Commitment to Community
Family-owned and operated for over 40 years, Metropolitan has always viewed success as something to be shared. While we’ve grown to become one of New England’s largest manufacturers of custom cabinetry and countertops—with five showrooms across Massachusetts—our roots remain grounded in giving back.
From supporting local schools and youth programs to donating materials for housing projects and sponsoring nonprofit initiatives, our commitment to community involvement runs deep. We believe that strong neighborhoods are built just like great kitchens: with thoughtful planning, reliable tools, and people who care.
In 2024 alone, our efforts included both monetary donations and in-kind contributions, as well as employee-led volunteer initiatives that allowed our team to connect directly with causes close to their hearts. We’re proud to support a range of organizations that focus on housing, education, healthcare, and food insecurity—because everyone deserves a foundation they can count on.
