Our Story

About Us / Our Story

Our story begins with Stuart Elfland and his father Mike, who started Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertops in 1984, to provide high quality products to the trade. This new family business was fueled by Mike’s kitchen cabinet sales experience and Stuart’s entrepreneurial spirit – and a lot of passion. With third-generation family members now a part of the team, Metropolitan continues to reinvest in the company and its growth.
